I live. Always room for improvement, but if my life was independently rated, I would be considered self actualized. Yet everyday I have the overwhelming feeling I should be doing something else. I feel born into bondage. Working for a living.
I saw video of a dozen protesters standing on the side of the road in Burma, knowing full well they would soon be arrested, possibly tortured, just for gathering to say "We protest!". I got teary eyed and had a lump in my throat.
Yesterday I read an article the continued plight of Afghan women. Last week it was an article on a group in Africa going into villages trying to stop Female genital mutilation. Always the Palestinians are on my mind. I should do more.
Never called Irish Embassy in Ottawa. This month for sure. Fear.
Kids are healthy. I'm healthy. All the rest is just bonus.
Net worth is basically unchanged. Made progress on CC debt, but took a hit in stock market.
My life is focused on being financially independent by my 55th birthday. Then i will go save the world.
